Course description
In this course, mothers will learn how to navigate breastfeeding during the first year and handle critical growth benchmarks that may affect breastfeedings, such as teething and weaning. Mothers will also be able to find valuable resources for support and guidance as their baby grows. In the first lesson, mothers will learn how to work through teething and breastfeeding in the most comfortable way for them and their babies. Mothers will also learn about how sleeping patterns change as babies grow and prevent SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). Lastly, this course will end with an overview of common concerns that you may have and advice on how to support your emotional and mental needs at this time. In the second lesson, mothers will learn about how to culminate what they have learned so far to create a productive, healthy, and comfortable lifestyle for you and their baby. This will review nursing in public and how to adjust to your baby’s needs as they grow during their first year. Mothers will also learn to find authentic support in their daily lives by answering questions on what happens when they decide to stop breastfeeding.
