This course was designed for women preparing to breastfeed for the first time or seeking help with breastfeeding.
In this course, we will be going over breastfeeding as well as the importance of breastfeeding. The first lesson will go over the anatomy of the breast and how breastfeeding happens.
This course will go over the topic surrounding maternal death and the different factors that lead up to that. We will specifically target the 3 delays leading to maternal death in rural areas and provide ways to help combat these issues. You will also learn a variety of new terms that you can apply when educating mothers on this topic.
In this course, mothers will learn about the different ways they can express milk from their breasts and how to prepare bottles. After your first year of breastfeeding, you are more than likely ready for more independence or may need to start making bottles because you are busier or going back to work. Whatever the cause, it is important that all mothers have this useful tool in their breastfeeding journey.
In this course, mothers will learn how to navigate breastfeeding during the first year and handle critical growth benchmarks that may affect breastfeedings, such as teething and weaning. Mothers will also be able to find valuable resources for support and guidance as their baby grows.
In this course, you will be guided through the first month to six weeks of breastfeeding and what to expect. During this time, you will likely feel more comfortable. However, it is completely normal if you don’t feel like you have quite gotten your rhythm yet.
In this course, you will be guided through the first two weeks of breastfeeding and the most essential parts of building a solid and nurturing connection with your baby. This course aims to give you the necessary tools to navigate all aspects of breastfeeding in your “early days.”
