Course description

In this course, you will be guided through the first month to six weeks of breastfeeding and what to expect. During this time, you will likely feel more comfortable. However, it is completely normal if you don’t feel like you have quite gotten your rhythm yet. This lesson will be your helper on all things nursing and building trust with your baby.

In your first month to six weeks, you will likely begin establishing a new “normal,” this lesson will walk you through what that may look like for you. In the first lesson, you will learn about “conversational nursing” and how this can be a tool in establishing a strong bond with your baby. You will also learn how to track your baby’s growth during nursing and how to nurse fussy babies.

In the second lesson, you will learn about how to address your baby’s specific needs. This lesson will also cover all of your concerns about nurse “sparklers” and “orchids.” As your baby grows, you will also likely start to consider nursing in public and bottles. This lesson will cover those concerns as well.
